Biographical / Historical:

Dr. James MacKillop was a professor of English at Onondaga Community College from 1967 to 1999. As a professional writer for over thirty years, MacKillop published books and articles about Celtic mythology and Irish Literature. His most well-known titles are the "Dictionary of Celtic Mythology" (1998), and "Myths & Legends of the Celts" (2005). MacKillop received a PhD in English Literature from Syracuse University. He is currently the editor of the Irish Series at Syracuse University Press.
